OJSC "Severstal-Metiz" presented at the Oryol Economic Forum the project of the Orel Industrial Park

At the Oryol Economic Forum-2012, among the 80 participants, the Oryol-Metal-Metiz company was presented, one of the main types of products of which is metal mesh in a wide assortment.

At the forum, the executive director of the Oryolsky branch OJSC Severstal-Metiz, Alexei Yerenichev presented the project "Industrial Park" Orel ". Over the 6.5 years of the park, over 1,000 jobs were created, about 2 billion rubles were invested in the development of production. The metalworking industry was developed: cable production and casting. Currently, the production site of the park is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, and investors are guaranteed support from the state. Over the past year, production growth in the enterprises of the Orel Industrial Park amounted to 13.5 %, which slightly exceeded both the average Russian growth rates and the regional level of industrial development.

Participation in the forum opened additional prospects for the development of both the industrial park and the company of Severstal-Metiz in general. The forum, which was held for the third time, discussed the issues of active investment interaction, the introduction of new principles of working with investors. The number of guests-participants in the business community who attended the opening of the event amounted to about 2 thousand people from Russia, Belarus, France, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria and Moldova.
