The Vyksa Plant developed a plan for modernizing the anti -corrosion pipe coating line

The Vyksa Metallurgical Plant developed a plan for 2014 to increase the capacity of the first line of the AKP-1 (external anti-corrosion coating), including large diameter pipes, and also planned the reconstruction and technical service OPS and existing fire extinguishing systems in connection with the expansion of the plant.

Installation and construction work on the creation of AKP-1 will begin in the third quarter of this year.
The Executive Director of the VMZ Dmitry Makhrov announced the cost of a new project, which is about 2.4 billion rubles. The Dutch company Selmers Technology will make equipment for the project for the new external line of the external pipe coating. All design work will be performed by Lengipromes OJSC.

According to D. Makhrov, the launch of the new project will increase the capacity of high -quality pipes that meet the advanced world standards.
It is worth recalling that the plant produced the first pipes with a three -layer external anti -corrosion coating with a diameter of 1420 mm at the end of 2005. After 2 years, thanks to the sections of the automatic transmission at the Proksunsky Metallurgical Plant, the most powerful complex in the Russian Federation began to apply polymer coatings to large -diameters pipes.
