The launch of the cranes made it possible to replace all three taps of the converter workshop, which are designed to fill the cast iron into converters.

Uralmashzavod OJSC is an official supplier of cranes. The design documentation for the replacement of the cranes is carried out by the design enterprise Severstal Russian Steel.

The replacement of three cranes was carried out without delayed production using a special design solution: the so-called flyover was installed from the northern and south side of the workshop, which carried out the installation of cranes outside the walls of the existing enterprise, without violating the operation of technological units.

The installation of new cranes of the workshop made it possible to optimize the main technological process, and also increased the performance of the units.

The program for updating the crane park is long -term and provides for the replacement of about thirty bridge cranes, with a lifting capacity of up to 520 tons, which will ensure the main technological processes of steel production.
