To date, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has determined the fundamental structural restructuring of the GMC in its work with a translation on an innovative path of development. This was stated by Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine Dmitry Kolesnikov at a meeting of the V Congress of the Trade Union of Metallurgists and Miners of Ukraine, which was held in Dnepropetrovsk. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reports RBC-Ukraine.

During the meeting, the Minister noted the need to introduce modern energy and resource-saving technologies, the modernization of technological equipment, the preservation of the export potential of enterprises with the simultaneous development of the internal segment of the metallurgical product market. “The Ministry of Industry and Trade is actively conducting work in this direction, measures are being taken to implement energy-saving technologies for the“ State Program for the Development and Reform of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex of Ukraine for the period until 2011, ”the minister added.
