The construction of an oxygen station at the Oskol electrometallurgical plant began

Metalloinvest announced the signing of a preliminary agreement with the Austrian company linde on the construction of an oxygen station with a cryogenic air detachment at the Oskol electrometallurgical plant. Its performance reaches about 20,000 m3/h oxygen. In the construction of the station, electronic crane scales are actively involved. Recently, they have gained great popularity. This can be explained by the fact that the use of suspended crane scales will accelerate and simplify the process of leaving raw materials and finished products.

The agreement stipulates the construction date of the oxygen station - June of this year. They plan to launch the object in September 2014. This project cost the metalinest of 3.1 billion rubles.

This installation will be able to provide more promising and existing needs of the Oskol plant for air separation products. This is important, since now the plant implements a comprehensive investment program to increase production volumes to about 3.85 million tons.

The project also involves the Russian design organization City Institute for Design of Metzavods. The whole range of works from the design and author's supervision of the project is ensured by this institution.
