The technical documentation of the Yenisei plant was not approved by local residents: 92 % voted against the factory of ferroalloys

Recently, the results of public hearings were summed up, at which residents of the city of Krasnoyarsk had the opportunity to express their opinion on the placement of the construction of the Yenisei Ferroalloy Plant. 1583 people at the hearing received voting ballots.

The Yenisei Ferroalloy Plant has been launching Krastyazhmash to the territory of the non -working plant since 1992. The total area is 192 hectares. The future ferroalloy plant will be located 11 kilometers from the Solnechny microdistrict near residential buildings.

The hearings were held on Friday, June 22, from 19:00 to 21:00 in Gordk. This time was enough to speak out by representatives of CJSC Chek-Su.v., as well as opponents of the construction of the Yenisei Ferroalloy Plant.

During the hearing, expressing an opinion, one of the speakers tried to act in defense of the plant. According to him, the plant will pollute the area by only 2 %. Everyone who found in the hall rejected this argument. Due to the whistle of opponents of the construction of the plant, the defender could not finish the speech.

For voting, 20 URNs were installed. According to the counting of the votes, 131 people voted “for” the construction of the ferroalloy plant. The Krasnoyarsk residents voted "against" 1452 (this is approximately 91.72 % of the voters).
