At an expanded meeting with the participation of representatives of Gazprom OJSC and members of the Russian Association of pipes manufacturers on July 26, 2012 in Chelyabinsk, the annual need of Gazprom was announced over the next two to three years at the level of 1.4 million tons.
Increased requirements for the quality of pipes presented by Gazprom forced Russian manufacturers to modernize their production and bring the quality of large diameter pipes to the global level.
The following in line of modernization will obviously become manufacturers of locking and distribution reinforcement to the quality of the products of which Gazprom has reasonable claims.
The company hopes that all suppliers of pipeline parts will bring their products to the level reached by pipe companies in the release of large diameter pipes.
To this end, Gazprom initiated the development of scientific and technical cooperation with all suppliers, including importers of such high-quality parts of pipelines as disk bail .
During the meeting, the most promising Gazprom projects were known to which the main number of pipeline and reinforcing products will be delivered in the near future - these are the systems of the Bovanenkovo -Ukhta, Ukhta -Torzhok and South Corridor.
