In Nyazetrovsk they begin the construction of a mining and metallurgical plant

The First Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Mr. Komyakov met with the leaders of the British company Fleming Family & Partners, Hong Kong Sun Investment Partners and the Japanese Kobe Steel. The meetings were discussed by the construction of the Nyazepetrovsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant.

The cooperation agreement was signed back in 2011. The interest of investors in the new project in the Nyazetrovsky district is justified, since the region is the largest titanomagnetite deposit in the region (about 6.5 billion tons).

In the field of the construction of the Mining and Metallurgical Plant in Nyazetrovsk, this is one of the main investment projects. Using the plant, you can create a new industrial center in the north of the Chelyabinsk region. This is the entire production cycle - from the extraction of raw materials to the finished rental, as well as about 3 thousand new jobs.

It is worth adding that the developers and investors got acquainted with the Magnitogorsk Gipromez, which is preparing projects for the construction of the plant, and also visited the territory of the future plant in the Nyazetrovsky district, looked at the preparatory work on geological intelligence. Investors were satisfied with the conduct of design work.

The management of the plant predicts in 2020 to issue a commodity rental. The semi -product, which is obtained using the technology of direct restoration of iron, is planned to be seen in the coming years. In the fall, relevant documents of the implementation of the investment project will be signed.

Technologies for direct restoration of iron in a boiling layer are planned to be used at the Mining and Metallurgical Plant in Nyazetrovsk, completely new. This technology was implemented only once in the USA. Experts talk about increased environmental friendliness of technology.

Work on the project of the Nyazepetrovsk plant has already begun. Design and exploration work are underway. Cadastral plans are almost ready.
