The complete lack of documentary confirmation of the transaction on the purchase of Mariupol Metallurgical Plant Named after Ilyich and its tough denial by General Director Vladimir Boyko allows you to doubt the reliability of the representatives of the unknown Cyprus companies on the purchase of the plant, the investment analysts surveyed by Interfax-Ukraine.
“The press conference is similar to black PR: representatives of supposedly buyers did not provide any documents, although it would be very logical. All questions were the answers of the same type and empty,” the analyst of the Phoenix Capital investment Alexander Makarov told the agency.
In his opinion, if the purchase really took place or had any legal clues (an intent agreement, etc.), an attempt to solve the problem in court would be a logical move.
