The first fully automated substation will be installed in the context of Berezovsky

The first in Russia is a fully automated substation of the block-modular type 35/6 kV will be installed on the context of Berezovsky in the Kemerovo region. The installation and commissioning of new equipment will be completed by Schneider Electric.

The project worth more than 110 million rubles will be implemented as part of the investment program of ZAO ZALSHERSTERVIS. The prospective development of the section “Berezovsky is designed for 30 years. 

The new substation located in the village. Matyushino, Prokopyevsky district, will supply electricity to the promising prospective section “Berezovsky -East”. As the equipment supplier and the manufacturer of the concomitant work was selected by Schneider Electric. This international concern is a leading developer and supplier of integrated energy solutions in Russia and today is included in the five largest electrical Russian enterprises.

The new substation is equipped with the most modern innovative equipment that has a high degree of reliability and practically does not require maintenance. The software and hardware of the station has a built -in dispatch system, technical and commercial accounting, as well as an automated security and life support system. The cells of the cells are designed in such a way that access to parts are almost excluded. An extensive set of electric and mechanical locks, exclude the probability of an error in the operator’s actions, and the thermal diagnostic system minimizes the probability of an accident.

For the operation of the automated complex, the presence of personnel is not required, which potentially eliminates the possibility of industrial accidents. Technical maintenance operations are reduced to an annual inspection.

Equipment "Schneider Electric" is able to work in the rigid conditions of the Siberian region. The manufacturer guarantees the high the reliability of the equipment designed for the 30-year service life. The design of the substation was made in full accordance with the world and Russian requirements for modern energy supply facilities for the coal mining and mining industry.

Until today, such projects in Russia have not been implemented in the coal industry. The launch of the new substation will begin in parallel with the commissioning of the Matyushinskaya enrichment factory and is scheduled for the end of 2012.
