Against the background of a general decrease in the production of rental, steel, metizes and pipes, there is an increase in the release of cast iron, iron ore raw materials and coke.
In January -June 2012, compared with the same period in 2011, the production of steel was reduced by 3%, rental production - by 7%, pipes - by 1%, metizes - by 28%.
The scrap metal was supplied to metallurgical plants in smaller volumes and reached 2.580 million tons. Active buying up of scrap metal by black metal -heading recently has not led to an increase in metal scrap supplies to the missile defense systems due to lowering the procurement price and increasing the procurement price by foreign consumers of scrap metal.
Over the past period of 2012, the production of cast iron increased by 2%, iron ore mining by 2%, the production of iron ore concentrate - by 2%, the production of prepared iron ore raw materials - by 5%(agglomerate - by 5%and pellets - by 3%).
However, mining enterprises in June 2012 reduced the production of iron ore by 4%compared to the last month, and the production of iron ore concentrate - by 4.5%, the release of agglomerate decreased by 4.3%, pellets - by 5.8%.
In June of this year, it is planned to release 2.460 million tons of cast iron, 2.550 million tons of rental and 2.880 million tons of steel.
The extraction of iron ore has increased and the supply of scrap metal in Ukraine has decreased
