The heating furnace No. 5 of the leaf -rolling camp of 1700 MMK named after Ilyich was stopped by order of the plant for major repairs for a period of 47 days. The release of metal rolling produced in the camp will be significantly reduced, but this will not in any way affect the sales of metal that have fallen significantly with the onset of summer vacations.
The order provides for work to fully replace the furnace lining, a partial replacement of the metal parts of the furnace structures is planned: parts of the columns that make up the frame of the heating furnace No. 5, glissive pipes, vertical and horizontal coils and contours. In addition, a partial repair of the boron of the furnace and the reverse arch will be carried out.
When carrying out repair work, it is blocked to replace obsolete gas -sprocket valves and burners, dismantle and install mixed gas candle pipelines. Work will be carried out to eliminate the deficiencies of the evaporative cooling system of the furnace.
Perhaps this stop will bring a certain benefit to large metal traders to suppliers of sheet metal and pipes, such as the Moscow company Merkabi ( http://www.mercabi.ru/about/general_info/) allowing the realization of the 1700 mm named after Ilyich.
