The Pervouralol Novotrobe Plant established the production of distance wire

The Chelyabinsk Pipel and Pervoural Novotrobe Plants for the years are the largest suppliers of products for the nuclear industry. The CHTPZ company has developed a technology for the manufacture of distance wire. This unique technology has no analogues in Russia.

The production of distance wires with increased characteristics of chromium steel of the EC-164 brand established the Pervoural Novotrobe Plant, which is part of the CHTPZ company. The plant is the only supplier of the round and oval wire for the atomic industry. Such wire is used to distance the heat -eating elements in atomic reactors. Given the new needs of atomic energy, the CHTPZ company has mastered the production of round and oval wire from steel EC-164, and previously it was made of steel of the ChS-68 brand. The new wire has higher operational characteristics, which are provided by the resistance of the metal to radioactive environments.

The Pervouralian Novotrube Plant has already produced 12.5 thousand meters of wire, and the need for the nuclear industry in these products is about 150 thousand meters annually.
