Madam Royal knows the recipe for saving Ukrainian metallurgy

Analyzing the current situation in the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the leader of the Ukrainian - Forward party noted the indifference of the current government to the problems of metallurgists “Unfortunately, they do not understand that a fatal outcome can happen at any moment in the most important industry of Ukraine. Today we need specific effective measures - to adopt bills on the support of the national manufacturer and stimulate the creation of new jobs. ”

Ms. Royal rightly considers the mining and metallurgical complex the locomotive of the Ukrainian economy, to the problems in which it is necessary to quickly respond. “As soon as this industry begins to“ get sick ”, it is necessary to immediately diagnose the disease and use the correct treatment. The task of the state in this situation is to develop the domestic market for metal products, maintain a national manufacturer, stimulate modernization, and provide the industry by state orders. Only due to this we can provide metallurgists with work for 10 years in advance, ”said Natalia Korolevskaya.

We add from ourselves that one cannot but agree with the politician that Ukrainian metallurgy replenish the state’s income in the form of revenues to the budget at about 40 billion UAH. Every year, more than 500 thousand jobs provide, and Ukrainian metal rolling is 40% of Ukrainian exports. “But today this industry needs state support more than ever. World metal products are falling, our manufacturers lose competition even at home, which led to 63%in the first quarter of this year, ”Ms. Royal emphasized.
