At a meeting of the European Commission, it was decided to extend anti-dumping duties on the import of iron, steel and seamless stainless pipes from Ukraine and Russia and Russia and Russia from Ukraine and Russia for the period until 2016.
Initially, duties on the import of seamless pipes were introduced by the European Union in 2006 for Croatia, Ukraine and Russia. The time of action of the measures ended in June 2011, but at the request of European duties, duties were extended for another 5 years. However, the European Commission canceled the action of duties on these products from Croatia, since the volume of its dumping imports is small.
It should be noted that for the import of seamless pipes from Ukraine and Russia, the amount of duties has not changed into the territory of the European Union. For Russia, duties are from 24.1 to 35.8%, for Ukrainian manufacturers - from 12.3%to 25.7%.
