ArcelorMittal will go to negotiations with Kazakh workers Arcelormittal Temirtau

The ArcelorMittal Temirtau company is part of the steel company "Arcelormittal" and is the largest metallurgical plant of Kazakhstan.

The employees of the Kazakh division of the company held a number of strikes aimed at raising wages from January 1, 2012 by 30%. A temporary agreement was adopted by ensuring a salary increase of 10.4%.

Fearing the threats of the trade union to continue the strike by Arcelormittal agreed to hold a new round of negotiations with the workers of Arcelormittal Temirtau in Kazakhstan. Negotiations will take place in October this year.

At the same time, in 2011, ARCELORMITAL TEMIRTAU in 2010 increased the production of cast iron by 8.5%, steel production by 10.3%, and the production of iron ore concentrate - by 5.2%. Note that 80% of the products are exported.
