Since 2010, the growing needs of Russian consumers caused an increase in demand for a heat -assembly film for packaging . The deficit of this product was eliminated mainly due to imports.
So in 2010, imported supplies of thermal films to Russia increased by 31.5% and amounted to 11 thousand tons, and in 2011 - by 12.4% and reached 12.32 thousand tons. In monetary terms for the year, the increase in imports amounted to $ 34.7 million (17.2%).
But still I would like to note that the production of Russian heat -shrink films mainly covers demand in the domestic market, and the import volume of 10%is a feature of the Russian market of heat -shaving films. More than 75% of heat-shaped films are produced at enterprises with production volumes equal to 600-800 tons per year.
The main importers of these products to Russia are Germany, South Korea and China.
