Power loading at the Ilyich plant only 60%

In the summer, a lack of orders is acutely felt at the Ilyich plant. This was announced at the last Friday operational meeting by the General Director of the plant Vladimir Boyko. At the beginning of the meeting, the best structural divisions of the enterprise were awarded with honorary diplomas of the Metinvest group in honor of the professional holiday - the day of employees of the metallurgical and mining industry of Ukraine.

This summer, the Ilyich plant, due to the lack of orders, loads production capacities for various redistributions of 60%. The recession in the world markets of the plant will be used for repairs of equipment, buildings and structures of the plant, as well as the improvement of the city.

General Director Vladimir Boyko emphasized that no one changed priorities: “For the Ilyich name plant, human life and compliance with labor protection requirements are still the main value. Given the low level of orders, today it is necessary to focus the attention of the labor collective on minimizing costs, reducing both injuries and accident rate, improving the quality of products and the implementation of the established production schedules. ”
