Azovstal metallurgical plant, which is part of the Metinvest group, annually allocates about 3.5 million UAH. for the healing of the children of their employees. The plant provides children with the possibility of healing in the best health resorts of Svyatogorsk, Crimea and Berdyansk.

The company believes that children's health programs are a direct component of corporate social responsibility. The plant assumes the most complete all kinds of support for children's recreation in the summer for aunt of their employees. “Severny” (children's healing center), which is located on the balance of the plant, is located on the shores of the Sea of ​​Azov. Comfortable conditions for the healing and recreation of children with all modern requirements have been created there. The cost of the ticket is 1200 UAH. The leadership of the plant, trying to diversify the vacation for children, decided to allocate appropriate funds every year to purchase vouchers to the best children's health centers of Svyatogorsk, Crimea and Berdyansk. The main criteria for which the choice of health resorts was made is the location, quality of food, comfortable living conditions, leisure activities, staff qualifications. The decision to heal the children of the plant’s employees in the best health resorts of Ukraine every year was made after the closure of the Azovstal Orlenok camp. Over the past three years, employees who wish to relax there have decreased by 60%.

As the general director of Azovstal MK Dmitry Levshits noted, children's recovery is one of the priority areas of the plant. Children are our future, which one should begin to take care now.
