The Ilyich Plant will put into operation the installation of dusty fuel blowing until August 10, 2012

The installation of dust -angle blowing of the fuel into the design of the domain furnace allows you to reduce the codes and completely abandon the use of natural gas in dominant production. The commissioning of a new installation will also ensure a significant decrease in emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere of the city.

The leadership of the Ilyich’s Mammaker determined the deadline for putting into operation of the installation of dust -angle blowing - no later than August 10 of this year. Currently, the equipment is being tested under the supervision of specialists of the Chinese enterprise supplier of the Minmetals installation.

According to Vladimir Semenovich Boyko, General Director of the Ilyich Boyko plant, the dust -contaminated technology, introduced at the enterprise, will significantly reduce the cost of cast iron and fully justify the investments of $ 150 million in this project.

The contract with Minmetals was signed back in 2006, but during the 2008 economic crisis, he was suspended. It was possible to resume work under the contract only after the joining of the ILICH MMK to the Metinvest group.
