According to the maintenance schedule, once every four years, it is necessary to carry out regulatory repair work on the turbogenerator No. 2 of the ILICHI TPP-1 MMK. Currently, the turbogenerator has been stopped for repair work within one month.
Overhaul costs will be approximately 1.5 million UAH. Work on updating the unit is carried out by specialists of the departments of the Department of the Main Energy of the Ilyich Plant. During the repair work on turbogenerator No. 2, it is planned to open the turbine, examine the condition of metal units and parts of the steam pipeline and cylinders, and conduct an audit and replacement of the regulatory system.
Carrying out work in the turbine will significantly extend the life of a turbogenerator operating on an overheated pair and developing capacity of 12 megavatts.
