Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant completed the converter repair project

The project for the overhaul of converter No. 3 at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant was carried out by the general contractor of the Severstal-PromService LLC. Also, repair work was carried out by such enterprises as SSM - Lyubomash, North -West Fireproof and Domnaremontremont. In general, 95 million rubles were spent on the planned overhaul of converter No. 3.

During the implementation of the project, the converter housing was repaired, the rotor-lighter was replaced, and the defined zone was repaired. In addition, the foundation was strengthened during the installation of equipment for capturing unorganized emissions. A repair of a hinged gearbox was carried out and a refractory lining was updated, the parts of the upper conical part of the installation were replaced.
