Severstal introduces the weight system into foundry production

In ferrous metallurgy, weight systems are used to improve the quality of smelting. In the city of Cheretepov, a weight system was built into the literary electricity crane on OJSC Severstal. It is designed to weigh the empty and filled with liquid metal bucket. The crane weight system includes two sets of a cargo -receiving device containing tensodists , directing efforts along the axes of sensors. The system collects data from the tap and calculates the weight of the pure metal using a specialized software complex. Also, OJSC Severstal put into operation the weight measuring system of liquid cast iron in mobile mixers. The tensodists are installed directly in the mixer. Such weight systems can be used in various industries where an accurate dosage of the components is required.
