Meps states a further drop in the market for metal products

According to the report provided by the British analytical center Meps, consumers of Chinese metal distribution continue to refuse to increase the purchases of steel products. So in July, thanks to a sustainable reduction in demand, the average prices for steel workpiece fell by 3.8%.

Consumers of metal in India and the surrounding regions also do not intend to overpay for steel in the conditions of a worsening business climate. Sellers of the metal rolling predict a further drop in sales due to low demand. The fall of prices for steel largely contributed to a decrease in prices for metallurgical raw materials - ore and scrap of ferrous metals.

There is also no growth in sales on the territory of the CIS countries, and the Russian Federation is no exception (it is enough to find in the reference book of the Ivanovo enterprises metal-bogorge company and inquiring), with the exception of increasing purchases from Ukrainian metal traders, forced to look for suppliers Abroad, due to the almost complete monopolization of the domestic market, the company Rinat Akhmetov - Metinvest. The increase in the import of steel products into Ukraine as a result of such a policy and the complete impunity of metinvest only in July amounted to 20%.

The MEPS agency notes the situation not simple for manufacturers of metal production of Turkey. Enterprises, trying to prevent prices, are forced to significantly reduce rental production.

In general, representatives of the analytical center hope for some revival of world demand and production of steel workpiece already in the month of September.
