China reduced the production of aluminum in July

In July 2012, Chinese aluminum manufacturers reduced production by 4%, to 53.9 thousand tons per day compared to June. This could not but affect the global average daily production of aluminum. Its release decreased by 2.2% compared to the last month.

They also reduced the production in July of Oceania by 3.2%, in South America, Western Europe and the Gulf countries - by 0.3%, in Africa, Eastern and Central Europe - by 0.2%. In other region, the indicators remained almost unchanged. On average, the release of aluminum in June outside China decreased by 0.5% per day.

In general, for seven months of 2012, 26.068 million tons of aluminum were produced, which is 3.1% more than in the same period of 2011.
