Novolipetskinsky missile plant expands the capacities for extraid steel processing

On August 24, 2012, the NLMK NLMK (Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combus) ended the tests of a new installation for extraid processing of steel with a capacity of more than 2 million tons per year. The "oven oversh" unit No. 1 has a capacity of 160 tons and allows high-quality steel for the automobile, machine-building industry and the construction industry.

The commissioning of a new unit will enable NLMK to significantly expand the range of steel brands, begin the production of new types of steel rental and slabs with a super -low, less than one thousand percent, the sulfur content. Extra-marked processing, according to the requirements of current standards, are mandatory to be subject to steel in the automotive industry, in the production of household appliances and in the production of those sold in Perm electric motors .

Thus, today, the Four Four Otens-Khovsh units with a total capacity of 12 million tons per year are included in the NLMK set of steel processing, which will process 100% of the smelted steel at the plant. The installation of the last two units was carried out with the participation of the Austrian company Siemens VAI and was provided for by the program of technical rearmament and development of the Novolipetskoye missile plant.
