Chinese metallurgists reduced the production of steel

According to the experts of China Iron & Steel Association in the second and third decades of August 2012, the average daily smelting of steel in China fell by 2% with respect to the results of the first decade of this month. The average daily production of steel amounted to 1.93 million tons/day.

In July of this year, the release also decreased by 2.5%, in relation to June. At the same time, according to the results of the first half of 2012, the production of steel in China increased by 2.1% compared to last year's period.

Similar trends are visible with regard to the export of Chinese steel. In April 2012, China put about 4.67 million tons of steel on the foreign market, which is 7.15% less than in March this year. However, according to the results of the first quarter of 2012, China exported 10% more than in the corresponding period last year.
