Repair and restoration work of the floating crane of Zakhary are underway

The floating crane of the LK-600 "Zakhary" stopped functioning in November 2011 during the construction of the Podolsko-Voskarensky bridge during the installation of arches in the capital of Ukraine of the city of Kyiv.

The project to restore the largest floating crane in Ukraine is carried out by BMK Planet-Most, which has entered into an agreement for the supply of metal rolling for repair work with the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC).

Cranes and other recovery work is replaced by the Cranes and other restoration work at the Lenin Kuznitsa enterprise and in Nikolaev at the Ocean shipbuilding plant.

As part of the project, the UMMC set in August 2012 the last batch of shipping, which is used to make a new arrows for the Zakhary crane. In total, the UMMK's repair work provided about 1000 tons of metal rolling.
