Transmashproekt OJSC, which at one time was engaged in the design of the facilities of the defense complex, has now taken up the modernization and reconstruction of machine -building enterprises.
The project was implemented on the technical re -equipment and restoration of the Tikhvinsky Plant of Transport Engineering CJSC. The reconstruction of buildings for the integrated production of wagons from the axes to the facility is finished. Automated lines for assembling and welding whole nodes based on industrial robots of the American company KUKA. The ventilation and heating systems are mounted.
During the implementation of the project, automatic warehouses and production lines with the introduction of 84 industrial robots were created. Currently, the Tikhvinsky plant is one of the most modernized and large in Europe of the car -building complexes.
