The Brazilian company Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) was the first swallow in raising the selling prices for the metal. According to Dow Jones Newswires, the company from Brazil announced the increase in metal products from September 1. On average, prices will be raised by 7% for Brazil’s domestic market.
Following the CSN prices will be raised by the remaining largest Brazilian companies by USINAS Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA (USMINAS) and Arcelormittal Brasil. These companies plan to announce an increase in an average of 5%.
According to the site Staliks.kiev.ua , the selling prices of the CIS manufacturers for the rollery began to rise. An announced increase will be up to $ 20 at August prices. The company Evraz, the largest manufacturer of varietal rental and reinforcement in the CIS, has already raised a 1% price for reinforcing rental and offers it for 625 US dollars excluding VAT.
