The project has been successfully implemented to connect the plant “Severstal - Balakovo Sortovaya Plant” to the 220 KV Central PS in the Saratov region. The power of the future plant will reach 172 MW. Testing the gear lines with operating voltage.
Construction has begun last fall. During this time, 61 supports were installed, about 65 km of the wire was mounted, the distribution device (OC) of the 220 kV central PS was restored. Also reconstructed power lines that should provide reliable supply to consumers of the Saratov region.
The construction of the plant of ZAO Severstal - Balakovo Sortovaya Plant is planned to be completed in 2013. The company will produce 1 million tons of varietal rental per year and will create 800 jobs.
