Last week, the converter No. 1 is launched at the Ilyich Mining Right Council after the overhaul of the overhaul. The production capacity of the converter is 160 tons.
The circuit of the converter was ahead of schedule and took only 11 days. During the overhaul, all planned work was performed: the converter housing was completely repaired, the logging neck, converter helmet, and railway rod and steel shipping were replaced.
During the work on the converter, an audit of the mechanical and electric parts of the apparatus was carried out and environmental measures were performed. In particular, the overhaul of the gas output equipment, gas cleaning equipment and fan of smokerings .
According to the deputy chief engineer for converter production - the head of the converter workshop of the Ilyich plant, Alexander Larionov, the overhaul was completed a day earlier than the planned deadline. As a result of the work, labor safety indicators have been improved and steel production conditions were improved.
