According to the metallurgical association of metallurgprom, from the beginning of this year to August the production of steel rental has decreased by 7% compared to the same period last year. Steel smelting during this period was reduced by 5%.
From January to August 2012, 19.681 million tons of metal rolling were rolled with metallurgical plants of Ukraine. For comparison last year, 22.218 million tons were produced for this date, 7% more than this.
Steel smelting from January to this year amounted to 22.010 million tons, which is 5% or 1.142 million tons less than the same period last year.
Most of all they lost metizes - the reduction in this type of rental amounted to as many as 27% by last year. The production of cast iron has practically remained at the 2011 level.
