The Mariupol Mamocontal Parts of Azovstal and the Ilyich’s name reduced the production of metal rolling

PJSC Azovstal Metallurgical Plant, according to the information provided by the Metallurgprom metallurgical association, made 2 million 847 tons of steel products from the beginning of 2012 to September 1, 2012. If we compare the volume of production with the same period last year, then the result will be a serious fall - 22.4% or a little less than 900 thousand tons. Having selected from the total number the production of the finished metal rolling, we get an even more depressing picture: 1 million 645 thousand tons of metal rolling were produced, which is 903 thousand tons, or 35.4% less than the same period last year. The production indicators for cast iron amounted to 2 million 742 thousand tons (falling by 17.8%), for smelting 3 million 172 thousand tons (fall by 18.3%).

The Metinvest metallurgical giant from the Metinvest group, over eight months since the beginning of the year, PJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich, did not lag behind 3 million 39 thousand tons of steel products in eight months, which is 12% less than last year’s indicators for this period. Steel smelting decreased by 13.7% to 3 million 584 thousand tons, the production of cast iron fell by 9.7% to 3 million 70 thousand tons.
