Arselormital Temirtau will force domain gas to work for the needs of the enterprise and the city

Arselormital Temirtau, located in the Karaganda region, is close to the implementation of the program for the disposal of domain gas. The large metallurgical plant will not only reduce the negative impact on the atmosphere, but will also use, first of wasted gas, for production purposes.

Domain gas in a volume of 150 thousand cubic meters per hour will ensure the production of thermal energy in the amount of 150 tons of steam per hour formed at the exit from the boilers. This energy will be used for the communal needs of the city and the enterprise itself. In addition, the advanced engineering plumbing and heating equipment will be installed. The construction of five boilers is completed, which will use domain gas as fuel.

Now only 70% of domestic gas produced by three domain stoves is used in production, and 30% is burned, polluting the environment. The gas recycling program will ensure its use for the production of steam, which will be aimed at the production needs of the Arselormital Temirtau plant. The project cost is $ 18.1 million.
