The metallurgists of Ukraine reduced the production of metal rolling in January - September 2012 by 8% in relation to the same period last year, the representative of the Metallurgprom association said.
The total number of metal products produced over the past nine months since the beginning of this year amounted to 21.967 million tons, while 23.816 million tons were manufactured during this period of 2011. The difference in the amount of metal production was 1.849 million tons or 8%.
In January - September 2012, 24.592 million tons of raw steel and 21.358 million tons of cast iron were tied with Ukrainian metallurgical plants. The reduction amounted to 6%for these types of products.
A pleasant exception was thick -walled pipes Ukrainian production of which the rental of which is increased by 2%.
In September 2012, the production of metal rolling fell by 4.2% compared to August 2012 and amounted to 2.054 million tons in all factories in Ukraine.
