The Ilyich's Minepon -plant is introducing the latest developments of Ukrainian scientists in the camp of cold rental. Innovations will increase the cleanliness of the valuable steel substrate by 25%. Such steel can be used for further staining with special fireproof paints .
Special collectors installed on the line of the continuous unit of the cold rental workshop are cleaned with the surface of the served steel strip prepared water mixture. At the same time, the existing process process of hot etching of the metal has been preserved.
Previously, the preliminary cleaning of rolls on the units of the CHP was carried out only using water. The employees of the control room itself were mounted and conducted trial tests of new collectors.
“We can safely say that this proposal of our experts is especially in demand during the crisis,” said Vladimir Boyko, General Director of the Ilyich plant. “It is enough to compare the cost of the collectors we have made - it amounted to several tens of thousands of hryvnias - with the cost of similar equipment manufactured abroad, several million hryvnias.”
