The new production of Interpipe Steel has become the key area of ​​activity of Interpipe, which is striving to supply its own pipe harvesting to tube factories. At the time of the enterprise "Intepipe Steel" to the design capacity expected in 2014, the production seamless pipes by 90% will be from its own tube workpiece.

Investments in the new production were saved about 700 million dollars. Interpipe Steel was the first in the past 50 years by a metallurgical enterprise built in Ukraine. The capacities of the new electrometallurgical plant reached 1.32 million tons of steel per year and will become the largest in Eastern Europe.

In addition to reducing the consumption of natural gas by 60 million m3 per year, the commissioning of a new enterprise will make it possible to close the March production and reduce the number of harmful emissions into the atmosphere by 2.5 times.
