According to the latest statistics published by the World Steel Association, in June this year, world steel production in 67 countries that reported the results of the Association amounted to 141.046 million tons. The monthly issue was up 3.2% from the release in the same month a year earlier. These 67 countries accounted for approximately 99% of total global steel production in 2016.
