According to the enterprise, the smelting steel fell by 70.4% (90 thousand tons), while starting in May 2012 at the DMZ steel was not smelted at all.
But the production of cast iron even slightly increased and amounted to 964 thousand tons, which is 5.7% more than in the corresponding period last year.
For September 2012, the Donetsk Metzavod produced more than 5 thousand tons of finished metal rolling and 108 thousand tons of cast iron.
After the Martenovsky production stop in April this year, DMZ suspended the release of a hot -rolled sheet due to the lack of workpiece. For a couple of weeks, the enterprise produced hot-rolled sheet from the reserves of the remaining steel workpiece and in May 2012 the plant began to produce only varietal rental and steel skating lane.
The Donetsk Metallurgical Plant is a fever from the very beginning of this year - all January and half of February DMZ did not produce metal rolling, but only smelted cast iron and steel.
The commodity nomenclature of the Donetsk metazer has about three hundred items, including thick -rolled steel, leaf -rolled steel for shipbuilding and more than 290 items of varietal and shaped rental.
Today, DMZ belongs to the Donetskstal holding in which the Yasinovsky Koksochemical Plant JSC, Makeevsky Koksochemistry Plant JSC, and the Pokrovskoye Mine Management Authority JSC.
