Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant embodies the environmental program

The Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant (Chelyabinsk Region) this year pays special attention to the embodiment of the program to protect the environment and improvement of the territory.

In 2012, the company significantly reduced the emissions of harmful substances. For environmental measures, the plant spent more than 1.1 billion rubles. At the same time, the costs of the capital construction of environmental facilities amounted to about 480 million rubles. Within the framework of the environmental program, the capital construction of the neutralization station in the leaf-rolling workshop No. 11 (LPC-11) and the reconstruction of the water supply cycle of the LPC-4 is deployed.

In addition, the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant became the winner in the competition for the title of the most comfortable enterprise of Magnitogorsk. In huge territories adjacent to the plant, intricate floral composures were planted and working places of working people were organized.
