The first steps to the clean city air were, according to the mayor, the rejection of the Marten production at the Azovstal plant and a significant reduction in such production at the Ilyich plant. Moreover, the mayor of the city expects the full closure of the Marten -made in the city for the next two years.

The largest pollutants of the Mariupol air are two agglofrics - the first at the Ilyich plant, and the second on Azov. Given the fact that both metallurgical giants have the same owner, Mr. Hotlusa hopes for the withdrawal of an infrospric in the city center, in the territory of the Azovstal plant.

Another concrete step to reduce harmful emissions will be the refusal of azovstvo from the so -called reverse cycle, in which the waste of domestic production is mixed with water and sent to a crowded sludge at the shore of the Sea of ​​Azov. The introduction of a dry method of purification of domain gases will allow production to the European level.

The Ilyich plant will also be modernized by the Metinvest group. New filters will be installed on the agglopham, and the domain furnaces of the plant will be re -equipped with modern equipment to enhance the protection of the atmosphere of Mariupol from emissions and environmental protection.
