In May, compared with April, the Ilyich metallurgical plant (Mariupol, Donetsk region) reduced the production of finished rental by 18.8%, or by 63 thousand tons to 272 thousand tons. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, reported by Ukrainian News.

In May, MMK named after Ilyich reduced the production of steel by 17.4%compared to April, or by 88 thousand tons to 418 thousand tons, cast iron - by 13.6%, or by 57 thousand tons to 362 thousand tons and the production of agglomerate - by 10.1%, or by 102 thousand tons to 904 thousand tons.

Compared to January-Mai 2009 in January-May 2010 MMK named after Ilyich increased the production of finished rental by 46.1%, or 503 thousand tons to 1,594 thousand tons.
