In Yekaterinburg, a project of the implementation center is being developed

In the Sverdlovsk region, a project will be developed for the technical and uniform center of metallurgy and heavy engineering on the basis of research institutes. The center is planned to be built in Yekaterinburg, as metallurgical and machine -building enterprises are concentrated around.

Currently, domestic metallurgical enterprises in the process of modernization use ready -made achievements of foreign firms, but they do not always meet the needs of specific factories. The creation of such a center is aimed at developing and introducing progressive directions in the design of new and reconstruction of existing metallurgical and engineering enterprises. The project of creating a technical and relevant center includes two stages: 1) organization of the joint-stock company OJSC TTC Metallurgy and heavy mechanical engineering with a control package of shares of the Government of the Russian Federation; 2) transfer of the state stake in the government of the Sverdlovsk region and institutions.

The main goal of creating a technical and uniform center of metallurgy and heavy engineering is to combine the efforts of design organizations and industry institutions to introduce effective methods for the development of metallurgical and engineering enterprises. The project involves attracting funds of private investors.
