The Serbian Ironer Smartyovo Roal Room intends to acquire one of the subsidiaries of Uralvagonzavod

Last Monday, the Serbian privatization agency was received by the only application for participation in the auction for the implementation of the largest commander of the country of Zhelezar Smartyovo today.

As the agency announced on the website, the Russian company volunteered to participate in the competition, one of the subsidiaries of the Uralvagonzavod NPK enterprise.

Applications for tender documentation were accepted until October 19, 2012. The unnamed Russian company today is the only interest in the acquisition of the Zhelezar Smerudovo, stopped more than six months ago.

The Serbian Metallurgical Plant "Zhelezar Smartyovo" will soon celebrate the anniversary - 100 years from the date of founding in 1913. Famous as the Serbian Joint -Stock Mountain and Cream Society, the missile plant in 2003 was privatized by the American company US Steel. Under the name of US Stell Serbia, he existed before this year and was returned to the property of the Serbia government by the Americans for a symbolic fee of $ 1 after the appearance of a real threat of complete bankruptcy and dismissal of more than 5 thousand people.

Today, Serbia authorities are actively looking for a strategic investor for a metallurgical plant.
