- India smelted 6 million 155 thousand tons of steel, production growth is 5.6%;
- South Korea produced 5 million 602 thousand tons of steel, growth of 1.8%;
- Germany manufactured 3 million 563 thousand tons of steel, a drop in production by 2.2%;
- Türkiye smelted 3 million 52 thousand tons, growth by 1.9%;
- Brazil produced 2 million 848 thousand tons, falling 0.4%;
- Ukraine smelted 2 million 708 thousand tons, falling by 8.3%
Ukraine has entered the top ten countries of steel production leaders
The World Steel Association (WSA) has published a rating of steel manufacturers. According to the results of work in the month of September this year, Ukrainian metallurgists took the tenth place of the rating with a result of 2 million 708 thousand tons of steel.
In general, the metallurgical industry of Ukraine showed a negative result in September 2012 compared to September last year. The fall was 8.3%.
