Metinvest doubled the export of varietal metal rolling to Russia

In September 2012, the exports of Ukrainian varietal metal rolling into the Russian Federation amounted to 140 thousand tons, which is 11% more than the previous month.

The leads of the production of beams and channels for export were Metinvest, who shipped 12 thousand tons of a channel into Russia, 9 thousand tons of beam and 6 thousand tons of corner, as well as the Donbass industrial union, which Russian consumers placed more than 20 thousand tons of channel and 5 thousand tons of corner.

In Metinvest, a double increase in exports was recorded, and in the ISD the growth of shipments in the Russian Federation increased by 2.5 times.

The remaining Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises also increased in September 2012 the volume of supplies to the Russian Federation. Some decrease in sales is observed in the shipments of reinforcement to Russia. About 10% of reinforcing exports lost Ukrainian metallurgical companies in September 2012.

In total, since the beginning of this year, more than 990 thousand tons of varietal metal rolling have been delivered from Ukraine, which is 16% more than in January - September 2011.
