Metinvest changed the financial director at the Ilyich plant

On October 23, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of PJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich "on which it was decided to appoint Gennady Demidov as a financial director of the enterprise.

Prior to this, Gennady Demidov served as deputy financial director of the Ilyich MMK. In his place, Nikita Bogachev, who previously held the position of head of the financial planning department and analysis of the Department of Financial Control of the Directorate of Metinvest Holding LLC, was put in his place.

According to the financial report of the Ilyich plant, published in the NKTSBFR information disclosure system, the enterprise’s net loss for three quarters of this year amounted to 2 billion 322 million UAH. Compared to the same period last year, the loss increased in almost two.

The drop in production at the Ilyich’s insurance plant reached 15% compared to 2011. In January - September, 3 million 355 thousand tons of metal rolling were produced, 3 million 947 thousand tons of steel, 3 million 410 thousand tons of cast iron.
