The sale of Zhelezaro Smartedevo Uralvagonzavod will be held in any case

According to the Serbian press, the sale of a metallurgical plant Zhelezaro Smereudovo to the Russian Uralvagonzavod is practically solved, only a few details remained that requiring clarification remained.

The Uralvagonzavod group is the only investor who knocked on the door of the Government of Serbia, which throughout this year is trying to find the Communist Party of the Rich Master. Yesterday, the deadline for submitting applications for the auction for the sale of Zhelezaro Smereudovo, which was bankrupt at the beginning of the year, was completed.

It is reported that the Uralvagonzavod intends to acquire Serbian production either for nothing or for a small amount, in connection with large investments necessary to resume the work of Zhelezaro Smereudovo. At the end of January of this year, the Serbian government redeemed this missile system from the former owner for one dollar.

Serbian journalists believe that the Russian Uralvagonzavod has a very profitable position for trading. Restarting the production of steel in Smeridovo will save thousands of jobs and significantly replenish the GDP of Serbia. The deal with the Uralvagonzavod will deepen political and economic ties between Belgrade and Moscow and open the doors to Russian investment to Serbia.
