Mariupol Ilyich Mining Financials Projects of the winners of the competition city with our hands

The competition "City - our hands" was the first competition from Metinvest in which initiative residents of the cities of Donetsk and Lugansk regions took part.

In Mariupol, the implementation of projects - the winners of the competition began. One of these projects, the "Alley of Children of War", received funding from the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich.

The initiator of the project was the Mariupol public organization "Protection of Children of War". The alley itself was laid in the Primorsky Park of the city back in 2008. To date, the city council of Mariupol performed the lighting of the alley, and the Ilyich’s fleet named after Ilyich completely entrusted it and made a improvement of the surrounding area.

Svetlana Goryaeva, head of the Alley of War Children, said that "financing for the implementation of our plans is carried out by the Ilyich group of the Metinvest group. In addition, the enterprise management provides us with great help in the improvement of the territory."

Investments in the Ilyich plant in this project today amounted to about 120 thousand UAH, said the head of the repair and construction site of the Central District Hospital Nikolai Kogut.
